Louise, Jade and Mark are extremely attentive and go above and beyond to make certain every horse not only receives topnotch care but are also loved as if they’re one of their own. Before moving to Huntington Horse and Hound, my one horse went through a traumatic experience, and I was terrified he’d never heal mentally. But Louise, Jade and Mark, are true animal lovers and they addressed all my concerns with compassion and understanding. My horse’s well-being, and happiness took priority. My horses have never been healthier and have found a ‘home’ at Huntington Horse and Hound. After four years, I can finally take a vacation and know my horses (and dogs) will be safe and receive the ultimate care with lots of hugs and kisses.

After the loss of my beloved 31/2-year-old Warlander, I was devastated, broken, and lost. Sadly, I lost Maverick's Reverence due to inadequate care. To stop my tears, I had to commence with a new journey. My journey included my acquisition of the new love of my life, Movado Rey. He was only 6 months old at the time. To ensure I never endured such pain and loss again, I interviewed every facility with a 100-mile radius. It was then that I was blessed to have found Huntington Horse & Hound, and I have never looked back. Interestingly, my vet came to examine my new baby and after supporting me in my recent loss, she noted to me that I was in the right place. What sets them apart from all the others? Simply & most crucially, in addition to their vast knowledge of the animals in their care, is their genuine LOVE for every creature in their care! It was not just a business, but rather I felt that my new baby was, and is, loved like he was/is their baby. Mova's care is phenomenal, and his emotional well-being is as important to Huntington Horse & Hound as is his physical well-being. In addition, I feel a part of a community/family whereby everyone is so invested in their 'fur babies,' which is truly a tribute to the proprietors and staff, as they create and cultivate that community amongst us all!

I have trusted my horse with the Watmore family for almost four years. This family takes great pride in their facility and it shows with the amazing level of care the animals receive. Definitely a five star facility and now that I will be able to leave my dogs in their care it will make for stress free vacations! Absolutely recommend this family for horse, and hound!

We have been HHH members since 2019 and never have I experienced this peace of mind at any other facility. HHH's dedication, knowledge and standards of care completely exceed my expectations. They treat the four legged and two legged members as their family. It was never more evident whenthe Pandemic was upon us in March of 2020 and the Government instructed all Equine facilities closed to the public, which meant owners were not allowed to go and see their horses. I knew that Hal was in the best hands possible. The HHH team looks after each horse as if it is their own, which means paying attention to the horses character and habits. On March 22, 2022, I thanked God for their constant devotion to the details. They saw that Hal was doing something totally out of character and they took immediate action, calling the emergency vet and then notifying me. The vet was unable to determine what the issue was, but the HHH team knew that something was terribly wrong. Lightning fast actions had them load Hal on the trailer and take him to the Guelph Equine Emergency Hospital where Hal underwent life saving emergency surgery. He was kept at Guelph for 12 days and when he was sent home he had a regimented program of care that the HHH team put into action. They nicked name Hal "One in a Million" as many horses do not have the same successful outcomes. My horse is back to being happy and healthy, Thank you HHH. The HHH team is truly ONE IN A MILLION! Hal and I are very blessed to be a part of their family.

My personal experience, and that of my horse, has been truly phenomenal. I have a gentle, special-needs horse and the entire team treat her as their own - warm, loving and attentive to her every need. Sadly, horses can’t advocate for themselves and risk being ill treated. Here we both feel safe. Her stress level, and subsequently mine, has been eliminated. I can’t imagine better and more loving care and kindness than we receive at Huntington. My precious dog will no doubt be equally content with his time there!
